Whether we’re working on high end custom projects or multi-family ground up projects, everyone loves to save money. The Holy Grail of “great price, good quality” is something we’re all looking for…so here area few of my favorite products and tricks for kitchens! These are mostly geared toward single family, but I’ve used every one one of these tactics/products on multifamily projects as well.
This isn’t about “cheaping out” - these are real, solid strategies we use all the time to help our clients deploy their resources intelligently. Great designers/architects know how to push and pull on a budget to get great results, and the best ones have all kinds of tricks like this up their sleeves…
Kraus kitchen sinks
Believe me when I say - you can spend *a ton* of money on every single item in a project if you want to…and kitchen sinks are no exception. We’ve done the $5000 ones with all the bells and whistles, and they’re really cool and fun. But we’ve also done these simple, cost effective Kraus sinks in even high end projects. I mean, what’s a sink anyway, it’s just a stainless steel tub, it doesn’t need to be fancy! What I like about Kraus sinks is that they’re sturdy, well made, and of course, cheap. I even put one in my own house.
