Favorite Mid-range Specs: Bathrooms

It’s hard to keep up with the many thousands of products out there, so when you find something that works, hold on to it! This is a partial version of my list - stuff I’ve been specifying for many, many years across many projects. These are all things that I’ve used in both single family and multifamily projects, depending on price point and aesthetic, of course!

These things are also solid midrange products - that happy medium between fancy and cheap-o that many of our clients are trying to hit. At some point, with many things, you’re not getting something *that* much better when you buy something that’s a lot more expensive. Unless you’re going for a specific look that can’t be achieved any other way - say, a Japanese soaking tub or a custom faucet finish - you can often stick with specs like the stuff listed below.

That said, we do also have a list of high end and super high end fixtures and specs that we use in some of our custom residential projects…but we’ll save that conversation for another day!
