Well, it’s been a while. I know, I know. But if you follow me on Twitter/X, you know I’ve been busy [and have been posting up a storm over there - go follow me, if you don’t!]
As I reflect on the services we’ve added and the new ways we’re trying to reach people eager to learn about design and construction, I’m more dedicated than ever to helping people get the most out of their projects. Especially in uncertain times, having a well thought-out gameplan, a stellar team, and solid fundamentals rooted in the realities of the industry *and* in a great vision all become even more important.
So anyway, let’s get caught up!
NEW Podcast
That’s right…I’m launching a podcast…TODAY!!! It’s called “Home: The Second Story,” and along with my co-hosts, we interview homeowners who have completed a major renovation or new build, and ask them…. “what would you do differently, now that you’ve been through the process?”
In my over 20 years in the business, I’ve learned that it’s hard for homeowners who’ve never been through the process to find sources they can trust. I try to be that source for them, through my content and of course if they’re my client, but the fact is…sometimes people hear advice better if it’s coming from someone who’s their peer.
So join us - we’ve got fun stories, horror stories, construction stories, even some roofs caving in…all from real homeowners all over the country. We’re even sprinkling in some bonus episodes with additional wisdom and ideas!
Find us wherever you listen to podcasts - Spotify, Apple, YouTube, etc - we’re releasing 4 episodes TODAY to kick things off!
NEW Instagram Account: mwmoedinger1
I’ve been playing around with short form video for a while on my Runcible Studios IG, but I’ve been wanting a platform where I can speak a bit with my own voice and not just the voice of my business - kind of like what I do on X and here in the newsletter.
So if you’re on IG, give me a follow over there…help me break 100 followers!!
I’ve got a ton of stuff recorded and queued up already - design, construction, strategy, real estate, etc - my usual topics, just in short video form.
Newsletter
I’m back! In a land filled with AI slop, this is still the real deal - written by yours truly - and will remain that way. I agonized over whether to keep it paid or convert to free, but I’m keeping it paid. Here’s why:
I put A LOT of free content out. And I’m about to be releasing A LOT more [as you can see from above]. This is where people can support me and my work, and I have full confidence in the amount of value I’m providing - and of course, your support not only keeps the content coming, it truly means a lot to me!
I will continue to post weekly, and of course the archive of nearly 125 posts remains available for your perusal.
Consulting
Since setting up my consulting services, I’ve been able to help many people all over the country - homeowners, developers, folks new to real estate, business owners trying to figure out what to do with their buildings.
I’m able to help people in a very targeted, efficient way, and that feels great - and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
I’ve added a few features to my consulting services, as well as a “25 Minute Quick Take” if you just want to talk something over quickly.
These services are usually just one-off Zoom calls [or visits, if you’re local to one of our service areas or want to fly me somewhere], where we talk through anything from design to strategy to construction to code/entitlements to reviewing the drawings you have from your local architect. Let me be that second set of eyes, that sounding board, for you and your project!

Other Stuff
Don’t forget that I have downloads available for sale [as well as some other fun/limited merch] at the Runcible Store. I’m cooking up some more of these types of items, so stay tuned for that.
Finally…
Thank you, as ever, for your support. On my new IG, my profile says that I’m an architect, designer, real estateur with “the soul of a builder and the heart of a teacher.” I thought a lot about how to convey how I feel about what I do, and what I want to do…and that pretty much sums it up.
I just want to continue bringing good, valuable information to anyone who wants to learn!
And of course, Runcible’s goal to deliver stellar architectural services to select clients on special projects still remains.
Let’s goooo!!
So exciting! Now following all your channels. :)
